DEARBORN, Michigan – The 150th anniversary of the American Civil War is commemorated Memorial Day weekend (May 28-30) at Greenfield Village during Civil War Remembrance. More than 600 Civil War re-enactors gathered to re-create Union, Confederate and civilian encampments, and perform military tactical demonstrations.

Civil War Remembrance at Greenfield Village in Dearborn, Michigan is one of the most comprehensive Civil War programs in the nation.
Members of the 102 Regiment, the 'first Michigan Colored Infantry' - formed on February 23, 1863. A total of 1,446 men served. 6 were killed in action during the Civil War.
