DEARBORN, Michigan — Dearborn-area children aged four through 10 are invited to “try hockey for free” Sunday, October 5, at the Dearborn Ice Skating Center (DISC). Try Hockey for Free is a cooperative venture of the Michigan Amateur Hockey Association, the Detroit Red Wings Foundation and the Dearborn Recreation and Parks Department.
The event will offer two sessions: 1-2:15 p.m. for ages 4-6 and 1:45-3 p.m. for ages 7-10. All equipment for the event will be provided, but pre-registration is required.
Pre-registration for “Try Hockey for Free” can be completed from the Michigan Amateur Hockey Association. Prospective participants are encouraged to register quickly as participation is limited to the first 40 youngsters.
