DEARBORN, Michigan – The Friends of the Library Dearborn (FOLD) will host a book and media sale 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 1 at Henry Ford Centennial Library, 16301 Michigan Avenue.
The first sale of the season features hundreds of VHS tapes on a variety of subjects from documentaries and feature films to cartoons and foreign language movies. All VHS tapes are 50 cents each or five for $2. Additionally, the book sale room, hallway, and children’s areas are freshly stocked with new items donated since July.
Friends of the Library, Dearborn (FOLD) is a non-profit citizens group that supports the library by sponsoring and funding library programs for patrons of all ages. The FOLD book sales are presented regularly on the first Wednesday of each month except January, August and September. All proceeds from the FOLD sales are used to support popular library programs.
