DEARBORN, MI – The Dearborn Education Foundation is planning a special event in collaboration with the Dearborn Public Schools for September 29, 2010. The event will showcase the impact the Foundation has had on Dearborn schools, its teachers and the students. It will recognize those who, over the years, have helped to Make A Difference – through donations, volunteering or with in-kind gifts.
Attend this event if you want to learn in greater detail the role the Foundation plays with our school district and how important it is for you to be involved. The Exhibit and Recognition event will be held on September 29, 2010 at the Michael Berry Center. It is recommended that you RSVP before September 17th via phone (313.827.8790) or website – www.dearbornedfoundation.org.
For the past school year the Dearborn Education Foundation has funded many grants with the help of generous donations fulfilling a variety of needs including science equipment, Promethean boards, music equipment, reading programs, and more. The event is a great way to learn more about where the donations go and how you can help Dearborn area teachers and students.
