DEARBORN, Michigan – Jennifer Giering announced her resignation as the President of the Dearborn Area Chamber of Commerce. After seven years in the role, she will be joining Hiring Our Heroes, the veteran and military spouse employment initiative of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation. As the Director of Small Business Engagement, she will be working to promote the Hiring 500,000 Heroes campaign, the Veterans Job Bank, and the Fast Track map to business owners across the country.
“Jennifer has been an incredible leader to and for the chamber. Her energy, knowledge and competitive nature, has been the foundation of the upward trend of this organization,” said Rick V. Morrone, Board Chair, “The board and staff will work hard to ensure the continuity of services to the membership and community during the search for a new President.”
