If you’re looking for a fun place to watch the 6th Annual Telegraph Tomorrow Classic Car Cruise on July 24, 2010, Cherry Hill Presbyterian Church in Dearborn invites you to stop by. With a prime location at the northwest corner of Telegraph and Cherry Hill Roads, the church is providing reserved parking for classic cars and custom motorcycles along with lots of family fun activities.
Cruisers are invited to park and display their classic cars and motorcycles, and have a chance to win a “People’s Choice” award for the best custom car and cycle.
There will be a $20 charge for parking street side and $10 charge for mid lot spaces. Proceeds raised from the event will benefit the church’s Veteran’s Day program and other programs held throughout the year.
In addition, there will be specially designed t-shirts for sale, plenty of food and beverages, an inflatable bouncer and games for children along with access to clean restrooms.
“We have an enthusiastic planning committee that looks forward to creating a unique ‘pit stop’ and expanding this family fun event,” said Reverend Drew Tomberlin, Jr., pastor of Cherry Hill Presbyterian Church. “It’s also an excellent way to connect with our neighbors.”
During the event, the church will have a registration table for members and non-members to enroll children, from preschool through 5th grade, in Cherry Hill’s Vacation Bible School (VBS) that will be held during the evenings of Sunday, July 25, through Thursday, July 29.
