DEARBORN, Michigan – This morning at about 4:40am, Dearborn Police responded to a 7-11 on Greenfield near Hemlock on report of a hold-up in progress. Upon arrival, officers observed a subject inside the store attempting to gain access to the cash drawer of the cash register.
Officers waited until the suspect exited the store and arrested the 20 year-old female, a resident of Dearborn Heights, in the parking lot.
Chief of Police Ronald Haddad stated, “Fortunately our officers acted quickly and were able to take this suspect into custody without injuries to anyone. We rely on tips from the community to improve our quality of life.”
An investigation is ongoing.
