DEARBORN, Michigan – On Friday, May 18, 2012, the 25+ Club, an organization made up of retired staff from the Dearborn Public Schools and current employees with 25 years of service, along with the Dearborn Board of Education, will hold their 56th annual banquet honoring new retirees and 25-year employees.
The event will take place at Park Place, located at the corner of Park Street and Outer Drive, just south of Michigan Avenue. Social hour will begin at 5:30 pm followed by dinner and a program at 6:30 pm. The program will include the election of officers and comments from Dearborn Public Schools Superintendent Mr. Brian Whiston, Dr. Gail Mee, President of Henry Ford Community College, and a representative from the Dearborn Board of Education. Sixty-eight honorees will be presented awards for their years of service to the district and will attend the event as guests of the School Board and the 25+ Club.
All employees, regardless of years of service, all retirees from Dearborn Public Schools, and friends are invited to attend. Deadline for turning in your reservation is Friday, May 4.
