DEARBORN, Michigan – Help the Dearborn Firefighters’ Burn Drive help injured and sick children, and families in need, by visiting the Pumpkin Patch at the Fire Station on Outer Drive, north of Michigan Avenue, on Saturdays and Sundays, Oct. 18-19 and Oct. 25- 26. The patch will be open noon to 5 p.m.
During the event, pumpkins can be purchased for $5 and family activities will be available on site. Children can climb on a fire truck, get their face painted, visit with a clown and see Sparky, the department’s mascot. Guest are also invited to enjoy free hot dogs, cider, donuts, hot chocolate and coffee. For more information, please call Steve Worden at 313-478-6761.
