DEARBORN, Michigan — On September 4, 2014 at approximately 1:20pm the Dearborn Police responded to the 13000 block of Michigan Avenue on a report of an armed robbery at a business. On scene the officers spoke to the victim who stated while working at her desk a black male suspect entered the business through the rear alley way door.
The suspect was armed with a silver handgun and demanded the victim give him all the cash in the business. The victim explained that the business did not have cash on hand and the suspect forced entry into a locked office but did not find any money.
The suspect exited the business through the rear door and is seen on video running east then north in the alley way. The suspect is described as a 30-35 yr old. black male, 5’7 to 5’9 athletic build, wearing black jeans and a black baseball hat with a logo on the front.
The suspect may possibly have a colored “sleeve” tattoo on his left arm. Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad stated “We urge the public to assist us in identifying the suspect in this incident. A partnership with our community is truly the most efficient way to achieve our law enforcement goals.”
