DEARBORN, Michigan – Zaman International invites you to celebrate its Fifth Annual Walk4Humanity this September 13, 2014 at Ford Field Park in Dearborn, Michigan.
Zaman International is a non-profit organization which focuses on empowering marginalized women and children on a local and international basis.
Zaman has helped more than 170,000 individuals, distributed over 250 tons of food and 47,000 meals to families in need across Southeastern Michigan, and provided disaster and relief efforts in more than 11 different countries.
The Fifth Annual Walk4Humanity includes a 5k walk/run, BBQ, and activities for all ages including petting zoos, pony rides, and face-painting. For the past five years, Zaman’s Walk4Humanity has brought together community members from all over Southeastern Michigan to celebrate community service and the spreading of hope to those in need. Over 600 participants came together last year to enjoy the family-oriented atmosphere which raises funds for Zaman International’s programming.
This year’s Walk4Humanity will be a special celebration because it coincides with Zaman’s tenth year anniversary and the purchase of the Hope for Humanity Center, a 40,000 sq ft warehouse in Inkster which will transform the donation process from being a hand-out to hands-on experience through client-choice services. The Fifth Annual Walk4Humanity is only $30 for adults, $10 for students, seniors, and children, and free for children under 5.
