DEARBORN, Michigan – The Padzieski Art Gallery will host the “100×50 – First Look & Kick Off Party”, September 11, 2014. Putting the fun in fundraiser, The Padzieski Gallery’s “100×50” project celebrates the talent and variety of local artists with a charity fundraiser and an Opening Reception “First Look & Kick Off Party” Thursday, September 11, 6-8 pm.
Area artists including Mohamad Bazzi, Jerry Vile, Melanie Manos, Kevin Castile, Windy Weber, Joseph Marks, Ash Nowak and 100 other creatives were each given a 10 inch square canvas to do anything they like and have contributed to the one hundred pieces of art of all variety which will be available starting at $50 each for this Special Fall Fundraiser for gallery upgrades. Your $5 ticket gets you a 20% discount on art purchases at the opening, a silent auction, delicious food, drinks, prizes and live music from guitarist Steve Jarosz. Food provided by Park Place Caterers and Elwin & Co. Baked Goods.
The show also includes a retrospective “Wall of History of The Padzieski Art Gallery.”

The “100 X 50” exhibition then opens free to the public Friday, September 12 and runs through Friday, September 26, 2014.
