Dearborn, Mi. — Dearborn Police are requesting the assistance of the community in locating the suspect involved in a bank robbery that occurred on April 9, 2014 at 2:25 pm, at the Charter One Bank located at 15904 Michigan Ave. The Charter One Bank branch is located across the street from the Dearborn Police headquarters building.
The suspect entered the bank, presented the teller with a note demanding money and displayed a handgun. The suspect is described as a black male approximately 20-25 years old with a neatly trimmed beard and mustache. He is approximately 5’5″ to 5’6″ tall and 145 pounds. He was wearing a dark blue “hoodie”, a dark baseball style hat with an image of a Fox or Wolf and jeans. After he received an undetermined amount of money, the suspect exited the bank and was last seen leaving the area on foot.
Chief Ronald Haddad stated: “We hope that someone who can identify this subject will contact us with information on his whereabouts. All Bank Robberies are serious, but when a gun is involved the danger to the community is greatly increased.”Anyone with information is asked to contact the Dearborn Police tip line at 313-943-3012.
