DEARBORN, Michigan – Dearborn police are tracking down Darrius Greene, a suspect wanted in connection with violent gun shot(s) following a fight at the Benihana restaurant Tuesday night.
According to reports from the Dearborn Police: “After an extensive investigation the suspect (defendant) has been identified as 28 year old Darrius Demarr Greene of Detroit. The Wayne County Prosecutor’s office has issued the following charges against Greene: Assault with Intent to Murder, Assault with Intent to do Great Bodily Harm Less Than Murder, Felonious Assault, Carrying a Concealed Weapon, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Discharging a Firearm in a Building, and Felony Firearm.”
Anybody coming into contact with Greene, or who may know his whereabouts, is asked not to approach him but to contact the police immediately. Greene should be considered armed and dangerous.
Chief Haddad stated “This type of violent criminal activity, that puts citizen’s lives in jeopardy, will not be tolerated. The Dearborn Police Department will expend all resources available to continue to investigate this case and locate and apprehend Greene. Dearborn Police responded to the Benihana Restaurant located at 18601 Hubbard Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at approximately 9:00 pm on a report of a fight inside with one person who had been shot.
The victim, a 43 year old Ann Arbor resident, was shot in the abdomen and was reported in stable condition at a local hospital as of Wednesday.
