DEARBORN, Michigan — Dearborn Police announced the arrests of Michael Lee Williams (17 years old), Jonathan Dewayne Colvin (18 years old) and Joshua Isaiah Johnson (23 years old) all of Detroit in connection with an Armed Robbery in the 7800 block of Indiana in Dearborn on Saturday night, September 8, 2012.
On Monday, February 11, 2013 the three arrested suspects plead guilty to felony charges before Third Circuit Court Judge James A. Callahan.
Two victims were sitting on their porch in the 7800 block of Indiana in Dearborn on Saturday night September 8, 2012 when they were approached by two unknown suspects. The two suspects produced handguns and demanded the victim’s cell phone. The suspects then left the area and got into a vehicle. Dearborn Police Officers were able to locate, identify and arrest the suspects at a party store in Detroit. The suspects were identified as Michael Williams, Jonathan Colvin and Joshua Johnson.
The cell phone along with two handguns were recovered and taken off of the streets. These individuals are also suspected to have been involved in additional armed robberies in Detroit.
Michael Williams, Jonathan Colvin and Joshua Johnson were all charged with two counts of Armed Robbery. Michael Williams and Jonathan Colvin were also charged with 1 count each of Felony Firearm and CCW. Joshua Johnson was also charged with a Habitual Offender 2nd Offense Notice.
They were arraigned in front of Judge Somers at the 19th District Court on Septermber 11, 2012.

- Jonathon Dewayne Colvin plead guilty to Robbery-Armed and Weapons offense-carrying concealed, sentencing date is May 6, 2013.
- Joshua Isaiah Johnson plead guilty to Robbery-Armed (2 counts), Weapons offense-carrying concealed, sentencing date is May 7, 2013.
- Michael Lee Williams plead guilty to Robbery-Armed and weapons offense-carrying concealed, sentencing date is February 26, 2013.
Dearborn Chief of Police Ronald Haddad stated: “With the help of the victims, our officers arrested multiple violent offenders who were likely active in several nearby communities. We’re pleased to see this type of arrest that results in a safer quality of life for not only Dearborn residents but those in surrounding communities as well.”
