DEARBORN, Michigan – Members of the General Henry Dearborn Quilting Society are presenting their work along with exquisite historical pieces from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, April 27 from and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 28.
The exhibits are at the Commandant’s Quarters, 21950 Michigan Avenue, and the McFadden-Ross House, 915 Brady.
The event features three floors of quilts including special exhibits.
Traditional Civil War style quilts by Julia Hall from Bits ‘n Pieces, Renaissance clothing by Velda Kirby and Cloth Dolls by Charlie Patricolo add to the experience.
No baby strollers please. There is no handicap access to these historic buildings. Admission is $3 at the door.
There is also a quilt raffle.
