DEARBORN, Michigan – It’s anybody’s guess who will be performing Party Rock Anthem or songs by Michael Jackson and NSYNC at the 3rd Annual “So You Think You Can Sync?” fundraiser for the Rotary Club of Dearborn. This year’s performance will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, November 10, 2011 at the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center at 15801 Michigan Avenue in Dearborn.
Event chair Amy Bazzy promises that there will be a great lineup of entertaining acts including performances by football players from each of the Dearborn public high schools, teachers, community leaders, Rotarians and others. Dearborn comedian and realtor Ali “Bulldog” Abdallah will also emcee.
Tickets to attend are $12 each for students and adults and can be purchased in advance at the Center’s box office, from high school Interact students and the night of the performance.
Monies raised at the event help benefit the nearly 20 scholarships that the Club awards each year to graduating seniors from public and private schools in Dearborn.
Sponsors include Neil and Jean Allen, John Artis, Amy and Jeff Bazzy, Margaret and Peder Blohm, Paul and Joan Cahow, Rick and Adreana Goward, Omar and Maureen Guevara, Joe Hallissey, Jim and Diane Ives, Roger and Lenice Miller, Mary and Merritt Robertson, Jim and Darlene Schoolmaster, and Jim Thorpe.
