DEARBORN, Michigan – An antique appraisal clinic will be offered from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 1, at the Dearborn Historical Museum McFadden-Ross House, 915 Brady Street.
Fall into Dearborn, with a schedule of family-friendly activities, takes place the same day at the museum.
The antique appraisal clinic is open to the public and is sponsored by the Museum Guild of Dearborn. All proceeds will be used for the museum restoration projects.
The Antiques Appraisal Clinic will operate on a first-come, first-served basis. Robert Du Mouchelle from Du Mouchelle Art Galleries will evaluate the antiques and collectibles.
The cost for the appraisal is $10 per item and there is a limit of five hand-carried items per person. (Please do not bring musical instruments, furniture, or weapons for appraisal.) All who want to participate must register by 3:30 p.m.
