DEARBORN HEIGHTS, Mich. – Registration is open now through June 17 for The Salvation Army of Dearborn Heights annual summer day camp program.
The camp is open to children ages six to 14 and will be held weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Dearborn Heights Corps Community Center, 26700 West Warren, from June 20 through August 5. Cost is $100 per week for five or more weeks with a $25 registration fee.
Programs focus on helping kids build self-esteem, avoid boredom and stay active during summer break. Daily activities at the camp include arts and crafts, music and drama, non-denominational Bible lessons, field trips, educational and community events and a variety of recreational and social activities.
Early registration is encouraged as space is limited. Before and after care is also available upon request.
