DEARBORN, Michigan –– Bangkok 96, in partnership with Groupon, will donate $2,500 to the Michigan Humane Society as a result of a recent deal-of-the-day campaign. Bangkok 96, in Dearborn, has been serving up award-winning Thai food at their 2450 Telegraph Road location since 1996. Since that time, Owner Genevieve Vang and her husband Guy, have been giving back to the community through the support of many local organizations.
Bangkok 96’s deal of the day launched April 7 and nearly 2500 coupons were sold that day alone. “It gives us great pleasure knowing that we can give this donation to such a worthy organization based on the success of our campaign,” Vang said. “I am a big supporter of the Michigan Humane Society and the great service they provide in this region.”
“We are thrilled that a chamber member had such a great response to this campaign. The partnership between Bangkok 96, Groupon and the Michigan Humane Society speaks to the power of such collaborations,” said Jennifer Giering, President of the Dearborn Chamber of Commerce. The Michigan Humane Society is a private, nonprofit organization serving the animals and people of metro Detroit and beyond since 1877 and cares for more than 100,000 animals through life-saving programs and services.
