DEARBORN, Michigan – Enjoy live music this Friday, March 25th, in celebration of The Camp’s 9th anniversary. The event, 4thFridays, will feature fabulous jazz band Zamar, artist Therese Maynard, along with Rufus Harris. The evening is sure to thrill.
Zamar is a lively 6 piece group of dynamic Detroiters. Each of the members are well trained, professional musicians with training in rock, gospel, classical and jazz music. The band is often described as innovative, jovial, celestial, melodious and reviving. Zamar was founded over 10 years ago and their style is a creative blend of eclectic, fusion, traditional, and funk jazz.

Also featured this Friday is singer, songwriter and guitarist – Therese Maynard. Therese hails from metro-Detroit and is extremely gifted, constantly creating wonderful, heartfelt songs. Therese has been writing and sharing her music for over 20 years. Last year, she released a new album: “Faithful”.
Rufus Harris and band will open and close the evening. Rufus is executive director of The Camp. His music is always well-received at 4thFridays, as he’s been humbled and privileged to grace the stage multiple times before. Rufus enjoys giving of his time by visiting prisons and nursing homes. He constantly brings encouragement through his music.
4thFridays is held at The Ford Community and Performing Arts Center at 15801 Michigan Ave. in Dearborn. (This month it will be held in the Dome Room.) Doors open at 8pm and show starts at 8:30pm. Admission is $10 at the door. Personal checks are welcome.
