DEARBORN, Michigan. – Oakwood Common invites anyone who has experienced the loss of a friend or loved one to attend a special program about “Loneliness” presented by Helen Sohn, a pastoral minister. The free workshop, which is open to the public, will be held at 6 p.m. on Sunday, February 27, 2011 at Oakwood Common, located at 16351 Rotunda in Dearborn.
Sohn, a former teacher and school administrator, received her master’s degree in pastoral ministry from Marygrove College and has been a frequent speaker at workshops, conferences and weekend retreats.
“This is an ideal opportunity to meet others who have experienced a personal loss, listen to an experienced professional and be able to leave laughing,” said Chaplain Romona Nowak of Oakwood Common. “This program is one of our regular “Sunday Nite Live!” events.” Light refreshments will also be served.
