WEST BLOOMFIELD, Michigan – Extraordinary works of glass art mixed with collections of exotic and unusual botanicals will dazzle visitors of the new Planterra Conservatory, as they experience unique creations from Dearborn based Furnace Design Studio at the first-ever Botanical Glass Exhibition, March 24-29th.
The exhibition, jointly produced by Planterra and Furnace Design Studio, will offer a breathtaking display of color, living foliage and light. Special lectures, tours, and videos will be presented during the opening week festivities. This will be a special event for all spring garden inspirations for homes and buildings with all works of art available for purchase.
The artwork presented within a garden setting is also a demonstration of the healing benefits of color and horticultural therapy. The March 24th opening reception benefits the Henry Ford West Bloomfield Healing Arts Program. A special roundtable discussion on art and color therapy will take place on March 29th.

Furnace Design Studio is the collaboration of internationally-acclaimed glass artists, Chris Nordin and Michelle Plucinsky. The Dearborn-based glass studio is known for custom commissions and site-specific installations for homes, commercial spaces and hospitality interiors.
