DEARBORN, Mich. – The Scintas were born to perform. A talented, tight-knit family of musicians, impersonators and comedians, the Scintas offer an evening of edgy variety.
They sing, they do hilarious impersonations, they poke fun at each other and the audience.
Direct from Las Vegas, this hard-working showbiz family appears at 8 p.m. Dec. 15 at the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center. Tickets are $25-$45.
The foursome is made up of Chrissi Scintas, who does stunning renditions of big ballads; oldest brother Joe, who plays bass guitar and does impressions; Frank, who plays banjo, guitar and piano and does impressions; and Peter O’Donnell, a drummer who isn’t related but complements the family with his dry wit.
The group is adaptable and always original with no two shows alike. You could hear perfect (or not so perfect) impressions of George Burns, Ray Charles, Mick Jagger, Neil Diamond, and Frank Sinatra or a musical number that makes you wonder if Billy Joel is making a guest appearance.
Tickets may purchased by calling the Center Box Office at 313-943-2354 or online at dearborntheater.com. A gourmet dinner show package also is available with Andiamo’s Dearborn.
