- MEETING OF THE MINDS – Attention Gamers and Otaku. Help build the library collection. Join us for discussions on manga, game systems, anime, cheat codes and more. - NEW GAMING: Wii ROCKBAND – Test out the new goods and taste some goodies. This is a drop-in program. Saturday, Sept. 18 and Oct. 23, 2:15 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. at HFCL.
- ACT PREP CHALLENGE – Get testing tips from the experts at Kaplan and participate in an hour long, 10 Question Challenge Activity. Registration is required and can be made at 943.2345. Saturday, Oct. 16 at 11 a.m. at HFCL
- TEEN READ WEEK AND WRESTELMANIA CHALLENGE – Visit your local branch for more information. Oct. 17-23.
- SCAREFEST – Enjoy tricks and treats during Teen Read Week by eating creepy candy and listening to scary stories. Tuesday, Oct. 19 at 6 p.m. at HFCL.
- HALLOWEEN FANGORIA – Learn theatrical and gory make-up techniques from the professionals. Staff from Henry Ford Community College Theater Department will lead you through the transformation process. Costumes are encouraged. Registration is required and can be made at 943.2345. Bring a friend for a bonus prize. Saturday, Oct. 30 at 3 p.m. at HFCL.
