DEARBORN, MI – A new marketing initiative created by local creative economics team and students from Dearborn High School has been designed to stimulate the local Dearborn economy. In the backdrop of an ailing state economy, budget cuts and rising unemployment rates, Dearborn High School’s Intro to Marketing class has lead an innovative city-wide program that will generate new business for local establishments and offer impressive incentives and discounts at over 200 local business. Participating businesses range from restaurants to hotels and any patron brandishing a unique key-chain card is eligible for a discount. The card can be purchased online or through the school. Businesses that want to participate in this program can do so at absolutely no cost, and proceeds will help support Dearborn Schools.
The key-chain card (which is available to both Dearborn residents and non-residents who would like to shop in the city) offers exceptional and truly unbeatable discounts throughout the city. The only cost to customers is the $25 cost for the card. Discounts are recurring and the card is active for one year.
