The Well is Dearborn's Newest Watering Hole
GTV Enterprises, which operates “The Well” on Randolph Street in Detroit, recently opened another location of “The Well” in Dearborn.
Foot traffic to and from “The Well” appeared to be very brisk on recent weekends in the West Village Commons located on Michigan Avenue between Tenny and Howard.
Ross Varacalli, a Dearborn local, who operates the British style pub with 3 other partners, said he thought “being within walking distance of other bars and restaurants will be to our advantage”.
The Dearborn location will have a local pub feel during the week, and a dance atmosphere on the weekends, and will not feature sporting events like the Detroit location does (unless the Lions go to the Super Bowl).

Some local folks might remember Ross (Rosario) Varacalli as a former bartender at the Double Olive bar in Dearborn.

Ross stated that the weekend business has exceeded his expectations and he’s been pleasantly surprised with the amount of business coming in week nights also. “We’re getting great traffic. Now the trick will be keeping it a pleasant experience for all the new customers coming in.”
